Current Band and the wave

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

right now we have a great live band live up. Matt McCausland who had played drums in the past for us and in my other band the jaguar strip is now playing bass for us (he also made this website!). Jon Whittaker is still on drums, Matt White on keys and my brother Derek on percussion.

I am working on a record. It is long, painful and a tribute to John Hughes. Hughes was a hero of mine and when he died a little of me died as well.

If you haven’t seen Hughes’ film She’s Having A Baby I strongly recommend that you do. It is my favorite of his films and when thinking back to all of the great films from the 1980’s She’s Having A Baby will always be my favorite.

Also I recommend The Dream Academy’s S.T record….a favorite of mine as well.

Check out our “tour dates page” we have some shows coming up

happy christmas

For those interested I am playing for the Olympic torch in my hometown of Alton Ontario Canada on December 28th at 9-10am on Main St. beside the cemetary.

I am currently making music for a feature length documentary called Giants. A film by Ed Limon.

I am almost finished production on my film Northbrook. It will be roughly 3 hours long. It is a true story. It is about small towns in the early 90’s.

I have a live record that will only be available at shows. there is close to 30 songs and you get a t-shirt – $15
