This Christmas season I am going into Greg Dawson’s studio to record a record that I have been working on for a few years now. It will be called The Great Alton Fire and will be the first time I bring in other musicians to record with. Those musicians are Jon Whittaker (Drums,) Jay Marr (Lead guitar,) Dave Joseph (Bass,) and Derek Masters on percussion.

We have played a bunch of shows and I feel this is the best version of The Ryan Masters Band we have ever had. Stay Tuned!!

First off thanks a million to everyone who came out to joan of arc at the garrison, it was a
a great success……we had so much fun and joan of arc were amazing.

Second, please check out the tour section for some up coming shows.
There are only a couple of weeks left of summer and only a couple of more shows

We are gearing up for fall/winter, we have big plans and exciting adventures lined up.

I would also like to take this time and welcome our 2 newest live band members; Jay Marr (guitar) and Dave Joseph (bass) And to think this whole time they were a stones throw away……

So I am in the process today of putting up all of my records on band camp.
A Shadow In Kingdom Falls, In The Hills Of Pilgrim, 60062: The Magic Garden Station, My Pledge will all be up for purchasing or just listening.
There are a lot of songs up there for you to check out and more coming.
This summer you should listen to these records around a camp fire or on a long drive home from the cottage.

MY PLEDGE

So I decided to go with the title My Pledge for the new record….
I did part one of it for a nice release show at Maguire’s in Brampton. (Thanks to Little City for playing and Erika for setting it up)
Part 2 is done and will just be released together with part 1, anyone of the 4 people that got part 1 will not have to pay full price…..

Looking forward to shows in Vancouver this summer…….

So …….. Myself and the pinnacle people band are having a cd release show on May 7th in Brampton (see tour section for details)
The record is My Pledge a 16 song album written, performed and produced by myself……..
I am also still working on a record with all the members of the pinnacle people and special guests…..

Today i thought a lot about unions and early years of rock n roll, how musicians were treated like any other hard working person……..hmmmm…..

Also, paul simon’s new record is a great thing…….
